Description
Interesting early 7" 45 from the "DAVID ESSEX". This is the single "THAT TAKES ME BACK" & "LOST WITHOUT LINDA". This release is on the Decca label from 1969 and with a serial number set of F 12935 - DR44984/DR44981. Both sides are in good+ condition with a few whispy visible marks. I have played both sides of this disc on a pretty good quality Thorens 165 turntable and apart from the usual crackling at the start, both sides play absolutely fine without any major audible problems just a little bit of crackling here and there. The standard Decca sleeve is a bit old looking but this is easily replaceable at very low cost. This was DAVID ESSEX in his Scott Walker mode - still discovering his style.Happy bidding.
