This Auction is for:
ARTIST: David Houston – This is the only listing for this Artist, on the Phillips Label, in my Guidebook. However, David went on to a long career in Country Music and there are many more listings on a number of different labels.
TITLES: Sherry’s Lips / Miss Brown – Rereleased on the Sun Label as # 403 in 1966, and on Sun International, as #1127, in 1972. This is an Original early 1960s Stock issue with Minty labels.
LABEL/NUMBER: Sam C. Phillips International Corp. # 3583. Sam owned the Sun Records label and this label paid homage to that fact and was operated as a Subsidiary of Sun – Etched in the “Dead” Wax of the “A” side, "P-431", on the “B” side "P-432".
SPEED/SIZE: - 45 RPM – 7 Inches
