(I've list few of late 60's early 1970's 1st press Prog Rock albums from my own collection this week . . . artist like SPRING, RAW MATERIAL & DAYLIGHT, real raries .  . . )


* SUPER RARE GEM *

DAYLIGHT - (self titled)
Scarce 1971 UK 1st press original 11-track LP, hard to find album by English folk act with a progressive, almost psychedelic feel to their music. The line up comprised of Chrissie Quayle [who sang on COBs Spirit Of Love, a mega UK folk rarity] alongside Tony Carr, Spike Heatley. Mike Silver, Steve Hayton. The matt surface sleeve, designed by none other than Hipgnosis.

Vinyl :
The heavy weight vinyl is in ExMint condition with only one or two minor surface scuffs to vinyl both sides. Two very clean and shape printed RCA Victor labels and tidy unmarked centre label spindle holes. The vinyl remains in superb condition retaining a glorious luster after 40+ years on!.

Sleeve :
This matt surface, Hipgnosis designed gatefold sleeve is in ExMint condition. The printing is exceptionally bold, and images are sharp. The whole cover feels very solid. This is the early matt surface issue sleeve. Printed in England by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd. Spine is clean, sharp and spine text is clear to read. Sharp corners, edges and seams. No pen or tears of any kind. Some very very light corner scuffing. Comes complete with original plain inner sleeve in lovely sharp condition.
