RECORD & COVER:

Remastered in 180 gram vinyl by Steve Hoffman.  NM and still factory sealed.  Possibly the rarest of all the DCC LPs!  A couple of these DCC lps were test pressed and never made it to stock production.  This is one of those iconic titles that never made it to the store shelves.  Just like the Ultra Rare DCC Elton John Greatest Hits Volume 2 LP, this double LP title by Cream, "Wheels of Fire" , was never pressed for commercial release. 

UNLESS YOU BUY THIS COPY,  YOU CANNOT HAVE THE COMPLETE DCC CATALOG!

By 1997, DCC had run into financial trouble, or lost the rights to sell these titles to the public.  They had already been remastered by Steve Hoffman for DCC, and some covers were made for the Elton John title.  However, they are now the rarest of the DCC titles as they only exist on a handful of 180 gram lp test pressings.  No covers for the DCC Cream lp were ever made.  NO MORE THAN A MAXIMUM OF 20 COPIES EVER PRESSED, AND RELIABLE INFO STATES THERE WERE A DOZEN COPIES OF THIS ONE PRESSED AND THAT WAS ALL!

This RTI DCC TEST PRESSING is absolutely one of the rarest lps you could ever own.  Knowing Steve Hoffman's legend and remastering prowess, I would venture to say this also is probably the finest sounding pressing of this title ever made.
