The big one that got away!

This title was never released by DCC and never will be. Test pressings are all that exist.

If you want to hear an LP made from the master tape and all tube mastered by Steve Hoffman, this is the only vinyl version that will do the trick.

The Near Mint (my near mint is everybody else's mint) test pressing comes in a white test pressing jacket with white test pressing labels like the one below.

 

7For those who might not be familiar with DCC, they are a remastering label like Mobile Fidelity used to be,only much, much better.

These are without a doubt the best sounding versions you will ever hear of this music, all tube mastered from the original master tapes by the ultimate perfectionist, Steve Hoffman. Pressed on virgin 180 gram heavy vinyl at RTI, it's very unlikely the sonics of these copies will ever be surpassed in our lifetime.

There is a small scratch through the bar code on the back of the cover. Although this mark technically qualifies as a "cutout", it is a most innocuous one, practically invisible unless one is looking for it.

This is a factory sealed item, long out of print. It cannot be guaranteed against defects of any kind once opened. This item is only sold “as is”.

I started another "company" on Ebay called dccblowout because in 2002 I bought the remaining stock of DCC Compact Classics, the audiophile label that filed Chapter 11 in that year.

Hundreds of thousands of CDs and LPs that DCC had left in their warehouse as of 2002 are being offered for sale at drastically reduced prices -- wholesale to the public.

Every DCC item is out of print at this time and will never be repressed. When they're gone they're gone forever so now's your chance to save a bundle on some great music from what was without a doubt the best audiophile label of all time: DCC.

UPS Insured ground shipping on this item is $7.

Priority mail is $7. Add $6 for insurance. Others please inquire or click here to Calculate International Shipping. (The package will weigh two pounds.)

California residents must pay 7.5% sales tax. Please do not attempt to calculate the California Sales Tax. We will be glad to do it for you. Sales tax is not charged for residents of other states.
