DEAD? CAN? DANCE - debut album - 4AD 1984 - Vinyl LP NEW? WAVE? INDIE. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
First pressing complete with printed inner sleeve
Experimental New Wave/Indie band originating from Australia
Outer Sleeve - VG - Some minor scuffing and cracking, slight crease bottom left on front and a small, semi-circular crease near the aperture, but by and large the laminate is intact
Inner Sleeve - VG+ Evidence of ringwear but no splits, cracks or marks
Disc - VG . Some visible marking but plays very well
I’m not a record dealer but just someone who has suddenly reached pensionable age and that old adage ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ has started to ring true.
So it’s time to release some equity from my record collection, which includes 60s,70s & 80s vinyl albums and singles, plus my extensive, predominantly-1977 punk/new wave singles collection (including a genuine Peaches ‘Blackmail’ sleeve to be auctioned at some stage….)
My gradings are guided by Discogs, and I’m trying to be as honest and accurate as I can. All records played one last time before posting on ebay, just to be sure…
PLEASE NOTE: A potential bidder has asked me about the level of surface noise on this album. You will see that I have classified it as VG which under Discogs guidelines does allow for some surface noise. However I must add that it is only really noticeable between some tracks and on the last track on Side 1 (a quieter track). The disc does not skip or stick, with just a couple of odd 'pops'. Hope that helps with your bidding decision!
