Description
This product is a rare and very collectible original 1985 UK first press LP of the Dead Kennedys album "Frankenchrist" on the Alternative Tentacles record label. The record comes with an original withdrawn poster (itself in excellent condition) and the record is in very good condition with harmless rub lines on Side 1 and hairlines that create no problems on playback. The vinyl is 33 RPM and in stereo, housed in a cardboard sleeve in nice condition but for a split on the top edge (see photo). The inner sleeve shows signs of wear and has a split on one edge. The record features the iconic hand etched words "A PORKY PRIME CUT" in the dead run-out area of Side 1 plus “THE FULL FLAVOUR OF STARK REALITY” and on Side 2 “PORKY” and “ORLAKE” plus “TO COPE IS TO COP OUT” and is a must-have for fans of alternative punk music from the 1980s era. Made in the United Kingdom, this limited edition release is a valuable addition to any vinyl collection.
