Description

Here it is, and probably your only chance to buy this as well: Death Cab For Cutie "Something About Airplanes" Test Pressing on Erika Records Inc. The vinyl is in NM condition, only been played once in fact. The cover is a plain back jacket, similar to a disco 12 inch sleeve, also NM. Here's the story behind this one: I am selling this for a friend of mine (Katrina who used to work at Easy St. records in the mid 90's) She used to be in Jen Wood's band who at the time, shared the same drummer as Death Cab and she was friends with all of them. Also a number of old Easy St. employees around the same timeframe opened Sonic Boom records who put out Death Cab's records. Rumor has it that Jason (owner of Sonic Boom) has a copy that he'll be selling when he retires and possibly members of the band have copies, who knows. I would guess that there only 5 copies of this test press total and to my understanding and knowledge, this has never been up for sale until now. Good luck bidding on this one of a kind item.
