DECCA / SXL 2008 / 1958 Stereo Recording WBG FFSS ED1 Label 'ORIGINAL RECORDING BY''
DISC CONDITION - Some light sleeve marks, needs light clean. Plays: Excellent+ on outer tracks both sides with occasional crackle, remainder Near Mint.
SLEEVE: Good+ with some wear and tear and 'flaring' of sleeve opening. Some delamination along front right edge (see photo) / INNER SLEEVE: Excellent
Rear cover is 'Blue Band'
Records are from the private collection of a relative who is an ex-DECCA employee. They have been professionally stored in custom wooden storage boxes and rarely played.

GRADING POLICY:
MINT: APPEARS AS NEW, FLAWLESS. I THINK THAT THIS IS IMPRACTICAL IN THE REAL WORLD FOR RECORDS THAT ARE 45+ YEARS OLD, VERY FEW WILL BE DESCRIBED AS MINT.
EXCELLENT: APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN PLAYED ONLY RARELY, MINOR FLAW(S) AS DESCRIBED. FOR COVERS/SLEEVE ETC MINIMAL YELLOWING COMMENSURATE WITH AGE.
GOOD: CLEAR EVIDENCE OF PLAYING, WITH FLAWS AS DESCRIBED. FOR COVERS/SLEEVE ETC FLAWS AS DESCRIBED.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING COST:
PLEASE NOTE THESE EARLY RECORDS ARE QUITE HEAVY, SO PLEASE CONSIDER THE LIKELY COST OF POSTAGE BEFORE BIDDING.
In my experience, post and packaging costs are a very emotive issue on eBay and I will do my best to reduce such costs to the practicable minimum. I usually make a small loss on this as I only use the highest quality custom packaging materials - please feel free to check the Royal Mail website to confirm the postage costs I quote. Where practicable, I will combine purchases to save postal costs, but this is not always possible due to weight or package size. If you are bidding on more than one item and want them posted as a single package, please let me know after winning the first item as otherwise I will package the record on the night the auction ends and post out the next day. Records cannot be held over for more than 5 days.
UK: Recorded 1st Class Mail - Single Disc £3.75 inc packaging. Multiple discs at actual extra cost.
I will only send by Recorded Delivery and will not send by 2nd Class, so if you do not agree with this, please refrain from bidding. WORLDWIDE: Actual Airmail Small Packets price for your specific location + £1 for packing materials. This is not as shown in the P&P section. Approximate postage to Europe for a single disc would be £6 and for the USA £10. Postage includes insurance. Where a disc is rare or valuable (more than £50), they will be sent by Special Delivery in the UK or 'International Signed For' overseas. This costs between £1.50 and £5.00 extra depending on destination and allows the item to be tracked (not all countries) and provides proof of delivery. Please note that, due to issues with some countries postal systems, I may only send by the 'Signed For' service at my discretion. Please note that in poor weather (or volcanoes!), delivery can take a bit longer than expected.Thank you for looking.
