A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

MENDELSSOHN

 UK, DECCA SXL 2060, 1959 LP

This auction is for an original UK Decca FFSS Stereophonic Pressing of Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The London Symphony Orchestra is being conducted by Peter Maag with Jennifer Vyvyan (Saprano): Marion Lowe (Saprano) and Female Chorus of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. See list below for pieces included. It was produced by The Decca Record Company Limited London England in 1959. The inner sleeve is marked "Made in Great Britain", "British patent No. 800513" and "Foreign patents pending". The outer jacket is  laminated with Clarifoil on the front and edges. It comes with the original cover and plastic lined jacket insert all in Good to Very Good Condition.  All components are showing signs of age but no tears or damage. The LP itself is perfect and plays beautifully with no skips and has no obvious scratches.  If you have any further questions please feel free to send me a message. Take a look at the pictures!
