Description

SXL 2012 GRIEG PEER GYNT FJELSTAD LSO 1st WBg ED1

Grieg – Peer Gynt. London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Oivin Fjeldstad. Decca 1st stereo pressing, ED1 wide band grooved. ‘Original recording by’ text. Comes with original inner sleeve.

1958 Decca Records (Cat.No.SXL2012).

Record is in excellent condition.

Side 1 has a couple of hair line scratches that can't be felt with fingernail. Side 2 has a couple of light surface scuffs. (I'm pretty sure I caused the scuffs with my nail while picking up the record). Scratches and scuffs don't effect sound quality.

Light surface noise can be heard during silent or quiet passages.

Cover is in excellent condition.Clean, bright shiny and crisp.

Only blemish is slight ringwear, lamination has a 1cm rip at the front and rear next to sleeve opening.

There also appears to be a small triangle drawn in blue pen on the back. (below the t in peer gynt)

If purchaser no 100% happy with record. Full refund will be given on return of record
