Description
A very nice original early Decca UK first pressing of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto and Bruch's Scottish Fantasy performed by Campoli with the London Philharmonic Orchdestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult. Decca SXL 2026.
This early deep groove original pressing has the Original Recording wording at 10 o'clock on the label.
The flip back jacket is only in good condition. It shows some creasing on both the front and back, and has tape residue on the bottom rear from an attempted poor repair of the bottom flip back seam. There also is a split at the opening on the bottom seam. The record is much better. It is clean and plays very well with some minor quiet surface noise at the beginning of each side. A very fine copy which I rate as VG++.
I try to grade records accurately. Most records are play graded.
