Description
Decca records. Made in England (at 6 o'clock). 1959. SXL 2086. Black / silver label. Wide band Grooved. ED1. Original recording at 10 o'clock.

This was one of Ansermet's earliest stereo recordings and is not to be confused with his later stereo version that was done with the OSR and was recorded more than six years later. This one is a much rarer item than its successor, as it was deleted from the catalogues soon after the new version hit the market. It was recorded on September 22nd 1954 in the Maison de la Mutualité, Paris. The LP on offer is a very nice and early copy, printing date on back of the sleeve is December 1959.
Comes with the original Decca Company sleeve.
Condition: NM (no marks, very clean, a perfect copy!!) Cover; VG (one tear on one edge + general wear) (Goldmine grading)
