DISC CONDITION - JUST UNDER EXCELLENT
Side 1 Visually and audibly EXCELLENT
Side 2 Visually EXCELLENT and Audibly JUST UNDER EXCELLENT
there was one light pop for 4 revolutions and 1 pop with mild distortion for 1 revolution near the start of band 1 . And one very faint pop for
3 revolutions towards the end of band 2
SLEEVE VERY GOOD
FRONT SLEEVE is Fine but there is slight evidence of staining on the rear sleeve perhaps caused by light water damage (see photo 2)
Rodrigo’s guitar Concerto was first performed in 1939 it has since gone on to be
hugely acclaimed and admired . Falla’s Nights was first heard in 1916 but not published until 1923. Here beautifully conducted by ATAULFO ARGENTA and recorded with DECCA’S usual superb sound quality. Simply magical in places.
