THIS ITEM: DECCA SXL 2109 WBG KRIPS / VPO Tchaikovsky Symphony No.5
LABEL/MATRIX: Decca SXL 2109 Wide Band Grooved label
CONDITION: Vinyl: Condition is Excellent.
AUDIO: I have play checked segments of this LP and for the most part plays Excellent or better with little background noise. There are a couple of clicks from a tiny mark on the first band of Side 2 but (I have not play checked the whole LP) in the main the sound was clear and there was little background noise even in the quieter passages.
VISUAL: The vinyl retains nice lustre. There is the odd minor surface hairline and a noticeball very light scuff on the first track of Side One (no affect on playback). There are a few spindle trails confirming the LP will have been played a few times. But just a few.
In summary the vinyl is very nice, I have no hesitation in grading Excellent.
Sleeve:
Both the outer and inner sleeve are in Excellent condition. The Outer jacket is infact probably better. Totally free of any defects worth mentioning. Please judge for yourself on the provided pictures below.
