DECCA SXL 2155 WIDE BAND GROOVED EDITION 1 "Original Recording...." at 10 o'clock. Wide silver band and "ffss" circle at 12 o'clock.

First early 1960 pressing of UK Decca SXL 2155. One of the best violin SXL's. Ruggiero Ricci with Ernst Ansermet and the Suisse Romande Orchestra play Lalo's "Symphonie Espagnole" and Ravels "Tzigane". One of the most musically satisfying recordings demonstrating Ricci's wonderful tone and virtuosity.
THE VINYL : This lovely clean copy is NEAR MINT. The LP has had very few plays. The record has been play graded using valve amplifiers, Linn Sondek/Ittok/Denon 103 and Spendor BC2 speakers. The record plays perfectly, without any problems. Spindle wear is minimal (See images). One of the finest copies you are ever likely to see. THE JACKET: Original flip-back laminated jacket. Lovely clean condition with no splits, marks or writing ( See images).
