This has to be the most unprecedented classical album collection on Ebay to date, It is packed full of Rare Stereo labels including, DECCA - SXL, HMV - ASD, COLUMBIA - SCX, PHILIPS - HI FI STEREO, RCA – LIVING STEREO, RED SEAL WESTMINSTER HI FI, DEUTSCHE GRAMOPHON – DGM (tulip) , EMI – ASD, etc... See photos.
This stunning Classical record Collection consists of 450 stereo and mono Albums all in amazing condition, especially considering some are nearly 60 years old, please note; although the condition of the vinyl in this collection is listed as very good to excellent this does not imply that a small majority are without the odd finger prints etc and will play crackle free first time round, in such cases this is easily rectified by nothing more than a quick clean of the record, (Record cleaning is a routine most vinyl enthusiast will acquire eventually)
Cover condition; The vast majority are in an excellent to very good condition ( a very small minority may have become unglued along the seams and one or two have tears ) A large number of the LPs have been stored in plastic/pvc cover which I have removed for photographing purposes. (they will be posted with the albums but please note some of these plastic sleeves are very aged and are falling apart but they have done their protective job wonderfully)
Among this collection are many rare gems too many for me to mention so I’ve tried to photograph as much as possible but I do honestly think I have not done the collection justice in showing you the full potential of its worth.
Violin and Pianos LPs are most predominate and make up the majority of the albums listed here, that said on the whole all other disciplines are also well represented.
I know I am being lazy not selling this collection separately however I just do not have the time or knowledge to be able to do so. So as there is not an Album here that would cost less than £10.00 to buy individually and there are many that are priced at least five to ten times that, some even greater I feel I have to put on a reserve of £0.50 per record.
