GRIEG : PEER GYNT
OIVIN FJELDSTAD & LSO DECCA SXL 2012 WBG ED1 BLUE BACK
"Original recording by" MATRIX NOS. 2E/2E
Very early pressing of this legendary TAS listed recording.
The vinyl grades VG with visible markings and the occasional light scratch which creates ticking. This is most obvious during Morning Mood (Side 1. Track 2). There are no jumps or skips. There is some audible crackle especially at the start of both sides. However, this does not overpower the music and there are long passages where the audio is EX. However, if you are looking for a pristine NM copy this is not for you. This is a reasonable listening copy which whilst far from being perfect certainly does not embarrass.
The labels show signs or wear and tear (see pics).
The rare blue back sleeve probably grades FAIR with creasing and repaired tears on the front and back. There is also some laminate missing.
Happy bidding!
