Description
Rare Decca UK stereo ffss LP, SXL 2268, 1D/1D matrix suffixes, 'Original Recording By...' on label rim, Rimsky-Korsakov/Scheherazade, Borodin/Polovtsian Dances, OSR conducted by Ernest Ansermet.
Laminated, flip back sleeve has had 'protective' sellotape applied to both sides of the opening edge, and to the bottom corner. This has yellowed somewhat over time. There are a few very light edge creases and a little ringwear, and the catalogue number has been handwritten on the back top right corner just above a couple of small white stickers that have been applied over earlier writing. There is also the ghost of some small writing on the top flipback, a date and an old price. Structure has remained intact, and colour is excellent. Overall, the sleeve grades VG+.
Vinyl side one has six small, light but noticeable marks on band one, and one across band 3, but these seem not to affect what is really clear, strong audio.
Side two just has a few light hairlines, again, not affecting super audio.
Overall, the vinyl grades VG visually, but EX to EX+ for audio!
