Dee Dee Sharp - What Kind Of Lady/ You're Gonna Miss Me (When I'm Gone)

(Action Records ACT 4522 UK 7" 1968)

This is a 1968 UK 1st pressing 7" Single in superb condition! It has textured "Action"  labels which have a 4 pronged centre. The record has 1st press A/ B matrix stampers. It comes complete with its original company plain paper sleeve.

The A-side is a classic late 1960's Northern Soul track. This single is very rare & seldon turns up in the UK. It is super rare in this superb condition!  I have some other rare UK original 1960's Northern Soul/ Mod Dancer 7" Singles for sale. Please see my other listings. Don't miss out!

Vinyl: Looks hardly played! It still gleams like new! There is a very light 1 cm surface hairline mark on the B-side. This hardly notices under a strong light. There is also one extremely small 0.5 cm surface hairline rub mark at the start of the A-side. This hardly notices under a strong light. Otherwise, next to no sleeve rubs can be seen when viewed under a strong light. The paper sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on a few areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. A strong EXCELLENT+ condition. Very close to being in Near Mint condition! The labels are in Excellent+ condition and show minimal spindle wear only. The company plain paper sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. It shows some light, mild or very mild ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.

I have play tested this single in its entirety & it plays Excellent+ overall. There are no clicks or pops, A superb audio copy!

Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.

Discount is given on P&P for multiple purchases. I shall always weigh combined purchases to get a completely accurate price so please wait for the invoice to be sent before paying for multiple purchases.  Please see below for a more detailed P&P description.

  >>  Grading Information All grading is very strict & adheres to 'Record Collector' specifications. However, I have fine tuned them & they are explained below. All vinyl is examined closely under a strong light & play tested on excellent quality audio equipment.

MINT Condition = A perfect copy! Almost impossible to find like this.

NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, There may be a very few, very light paper surface sleeve rubs that can hardly be seen under strong light. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. The sleeve is virtually perfect - there is very minimal wear only.

EXCELLENT Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows minimal defects. There will be light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs. There will be no scratches. The cover will be very nice & clean with maybe minimal creasing, ringwear or edge rubbing wear etc...

NEAR EXCELLENT Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times, but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only. The sleeve may have light, mild or very mild creasing, ringwear & very mild rubbing wear to the edges etc.... Overall, it will be a very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.

Very Good Condition = A well played but very decent overall copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears etc... The record will not be trashed!!

Please note that I also use "+" or "-" symbols for this grading. A plus symbol is obviously at the top end of "Very Good" & is really not far from being in "near excellent" condition. The minus symbol obviously means it is at the lower end. This will mean that it is near to being in "Good+" condition.
>>  Postage Rates

AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU VERY SOON AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. PLEASE WAIT FOR THIS BEFORE PAYING.

(Please note that these prices include packaging costs too)

DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS.

Please note that these prices are as a general guideline only. For example: Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7". I use a cruciform box for larger orders (4-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).

I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...

If you are uncertain about any of the above, or just simply want some information regarding any item, please do not hesitate to contact me. I welcome any questions.

Remember to check out My Other Items Lots of rare & quality vinyl! Most are UK 1st Pressings. It is quite likely that there will be more records by this artist, or records in a similar vein.
