DEEP PURPLE - 5 X LP + 12" SINGLE + IAN GILLAN 7" SINGLE - Fireball / Machine head / Burn / MK 2 Purple singles / Singles A's and B's / Knocking at your back door 12" / Ian Gillan Band Mad Elaine 7".

1. FIREBALL - 1971 Harvest SHVL 793 - UK original LP in textured gatefold sleeve plus lyric insert, 1st pressing - A-2U / B-3U machine stamped matrix (plus PEK handwritten side one run-off) - VG-/VG+ (Cover has rather more wear and tear, especially along and top/bottom of spine plus some ringwear - Insert is fully intact but has some light age discolouration - Vinyl itself displays a few more noticeable light surface marks plus the usual hairlines - all superficial though and plays EX)

2. MACHINE HEAD - 1972 Purple TPSA 7504 - UK original LP in laminated gatefold sleeve plus lyric insert, 1st pressing - A-1U /B-1U machine stamped matrix plus "The Gramophone Co..." label rim text - VG+/VG- (INSERT-VG-,  Cover is fully intact and displays just some light 'waviness', light creasing and light wear open edge - Insert is fully intact but suffers from some 'water damage' with large damp stains, especially to plain side - Vinyl itself is VG- with mainly a few light supericial marks and minor hairlines, but there is a noticeable 2-3cm scratch across end of 'Smoke on the water' into start of 'Lazy' - mainly superficial but it causes 3-4 clicks at start of 'Lazy' (it can be seen on close up pic) - apart from that the Vinyl plays VG to EX throughout)

3. BURN - 1974 Purple TPS 3505 - UK original LP, 1st pressing withe 'The Gramophone Co....' label rim text - A-1U / B-1U machine stamped matrix plus 'PORKY / PECKO' (handwritten) - VG-/VG  (Cover although fully intact, does suffer from notable surface creasing there is some more noticeable edge, corner and spine wear - Vinyl itself displays numerous hairlines and some notable surface marks and mainly minor scratches - these are mainly all superficial and overall plays near EX with just some occasional light background crackle and odd minor clicks)

4. MARK 2 PURPLE SINGLES - 1979 Purple TPS 3514 - UK original LP on PURPLE VINYL - VG/EX-  (Cover has mainly slight wear but there is some large creasing/squashing and small tear bottom right corner where stored badly - Vinyl itself just has a few slightly more noticeable minor hairlines and plays near EX thoughout - THERE IS HOWEVER SLIGHT BIRO WRITING ON ONE SIDE OF LABEL)

5. DEEP PURPLE SINGLES A's AND B's - 1978 Harvest SHSM 2026 - UK original LP in lamainted front sleeve, 1st pressing, matrix A-1 / B-1 (machine stamped) - EX-/EX- (Cover is fully intact and displays light wear, ringwear and surface marking back cover - Vinyl itself displays a few more noticeable minor hairlines and surface marks and overall plays near EX with some occasional minor distortion)

6. KNOCKING AT YOUR BACK DOOR - 1985 Polydor POSPX 749, UK original 12" SINGLE in picture sleeve, LIMITED EDITION numbered and stickered - EX+/M- (Sleeve is near perfect and displays just a few very slight creases - Vinyl is virtually perfect with faintest of hairlines and plays near Mint)

7. IAN GILLAN BAND - MAD ELAINE - 1977, Island WIP 6423 - UK original 7" SINGLE in company sleeve - EX-/EX (Sleeve is fully intact and displays some light creasing and light fraying/wear on open edge - Vinyl displays some minor surface marks and plays EX throughout)

Additional Notes - All items graded using the universal RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM and  PLAY TESTED. Additional gradings used, like VG+,  EX-,  EX+ etc. which I'm sure most people are familiar with. Basically in addition to the usual R.C. gradings, the following apply -

M- The record visually is virtually perfect except for the very faintest of hairline surface marks. Playing, the record is virtually perfect except for the faintest of audible noise in run-ons or between tracks. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve is virtually perfect except for very minor creases from handling.

EX+ The record visually is near perfect except for a few faint hairline surface marks. Playing, the record is almost perfect except for some very minor audible noise in the run-ons or between tracks. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve is almost perfect except for a few very minor creases/wear.

EX- The record visually is almost excellent but displays rather more noticeable hairline and very light surface marks but no scratches. Playing, the record is almost excellent but displays slightly more noticeable noise in run-ons or between tracks (crackle) plus additionally the odd minor 'pop/click'. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve displays rather more noticeable creases/wear or slight discolouration with age but no seam splits.

VG+ The record visually displays noticeable light surface and hairline marks but only the occasional minor scratch. Playing, the record displays light crackle in the run-ons and occasionally between tracks and slight background noise, occasional 'pops/clicks'. The sleeve and/or inner sleeve displays light-normal wear around edges, spine etc. with minor marks but no tears or major defects.
