DEEP PURPLE Burn A1/B1 UK 1ST PRESS TOP AUDIO, PORKY/PECKO, GRAMOPHONE CO. TEXT
Description
Detailed seller ratings:
Item as described: I list everything possible about this item, please read everything thoroughly and view ALL of the photographs. Please do NOT expect something different from the listing.
Communication: I will answer any sensible query quickly and politely, but please read the listing thoroughly first. I email the winner to thank them for the bid and to advise them of the likely dispatch date (usually within 24 hours of receiving payment). I email again to confirm dispatch and provide tracking number.
Dispatch time: PLEASE RATE MY DISPATCH TIME, NOT THE POSTAL SERVICE DELIVERY TIME...I dispatch within 24 hours of cleared funds, sometimes even the same day if the payment is received early enough and I am able to get to the post office in time. After that, it's down to the Royal Mail and whichever international mail service is involved - all of which is out of my control.
Postage and packing costs: It generally costs me more than I charge for shipping by the time I add in my mailers, stiffeners, shipping labels, printer ink, packing tape, fragile labels, petrol to the post office...so I do not overcharge on my shipping costs in any way.
Feedback: I would appreciate your feedback after the sale and you have received your item and are happy with it. This means I can then leave feedback for you and our transaction is closed.
ANY ITEM THAT EXCEEDS £46 IN VALUE MUST BE SENT SIGNED-FOR SHIPPING AND INSURED TO FULL VALUE - THIS PROTECTS YOU AND ME FROM ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT. PLEASE WAIT FOR FINAL INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. THANKS.

PURPLE
UK 1st PRESS:
1. A1-U/B-1U matrix
2. Sleeve by Garrod & Lofthouse
3. "MADE IN GT. BRITAIN" on labels
4. 'PORKY' and 'PECKO' etched into deadwax
5. Very rare transitional label - 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD' is one B side label, 'EMI RECORDS LTD.' on A side
FULLY PLAY GRADED VINYL - FROM START TO FINISH
PLAYGRADED: not simply glanced at with a superficial visual grading, fully played and graded throughout (listened to on headphones - the most revealing playgrade method, with no exterior audio distractions)
VINYL:
T P S 3 5 0 5 A - 1U PORKY-MEL-TRISH
T P S 3 5 0 5 B - 1U PECKO
Superb looking very chunky thick vinyl with only a few very faint hairlines visible under strong light. Plays superbly throughout with very little light background noise (crackle) on run ins and in between tracks. A couple of 'fuffs' at start of side 2 but soon disappear under the loud music. Very nice tone and volume throughout. EX+ MINT- audio.
Plays right through with no jumps or sticks.
OUTER SLEEVE:
Original Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve in excellent condition with not much visible wear to edges. Slight ringwear/rubbing to front and rear but overall still one of the better ones I've seen. Opening edges are very crisp with very little thumbing at all, so not much handling use. Spine is reasonably legible, some touch ups here and there.
LABELS:
Excellent, NO graffiti and only a few spindle traces visible. Side 2 has the Gramophone Co Ltd rim text, whilst side 1 has the EMI Records text indicating a first pressing that had to utilise an original label design with the newer EMI version...
INNER SLEEVE:
Plain.
Thanks for taking the time. Good luck in the auction.
