Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... As you can see, this vinyl is the FIRST HARVEST A-1 B-1 pressing -NOT A EUROPEAN COPY
Stored from new this LP has seen one play, and remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen. STILL IN THE SHRINK AND WITH ORIGINAL PRICE STICKERS IN PLACE
THIS IS A MUST!
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
No spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.
There is barely a hint of any whisp lines & thats it- nothing else! There is a few light dust flecs on the vinyl where the LP has not been outside the sleeve for decades- Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..
IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION...AND We heard just the lightest of lead in static and a couple of inciental static pops on each side..it is really quite amazing.
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct UK GLOSS FINISH SLEEVE first issued earliest sleeve by 'Garrod & Lofthouse'
This is straight out the box from 1982 as you can see from the shrinkwrap and stickers still in place from new!
The shrinkwrap has pulled tight the sleeve (as so many did!) and it has created the usual 'bowing' to the sleeve, but no damage ..it has slightly curved the bottom open edge. But no creasing.
SHRINK HAS BEEN OPENED CAREFULLY DOWN THE SIDE TO REVEAL THE LP. YOU CAN HARDLY SEE THE SPLIT IN FACT! (We thought it was sealed to begin with its that tight!)
The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.
NO edge rub of any note !
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with not a hint of handling
The spine edge is totally unmarked -no dinks or wear at all.
a couple of tiny incidental spider lines over the edges.

SUPER RARE! THE ORIGINAL TEXTURED SLEEVE IS SIMPLY AS BRAND NEW..WHICH IS QUITE SOMETHING TO REPORT..MOST ARE ALWAYS SCISSORED AT THE BOTTOM.
