You are bidding on an original 1972 UK 1st Press.
I have three UK first pressing up by Deep Purple this week all of which came from the same collection and all have been lovingly cared for and barely show any signs of use.
Please note that the vinyl has the UK first press matrix stamps: A1U/B1U and the 'Gramophone' text around both labels outer edge. These are only ever found on the UK first press, later copies will not show these markings.
This record is extremely rare in this complete and NM condition. Rarely do you find a record still with its original insert, original inner sleeve all from its first day of release and, still in NM condition!!!
The vinyl looks barely touched. These records are known for being played to death, taken to wild parties, having drinks spilled on them and god knows what else, I don't think eBay would let me state half the things this LP has probably seen in its life but yet its condition is truly amazing.
I have given this LP a 'FULL PLAY GRADE' and it is awesome from start to finish, I can not fault the audio playback at all, it really is near perfect and easily grades at NM, I'm happy to put my name on the line! I would like to grade the vinyl as 'Mint' but I only like to do that with sealed items, this is the next best thing in my opinion.
Out of all the Deep Purple LP's, excluding their debut on Parlophone "Shades of Deep Purple" this is by far the next hardest to find, and in NM condition with its insert.
I wish you good luck and happy bidding, do not sleep and let this one pass up by, its the one you need in your collection and as stated above, if you are not 100% happy a full no questions asked, money back guarantee is offered, bid with confidence.

Grading
Vinyl - NM
A mirror like reflection. Top audio from start to finish. Immaculate playback.Vinyl sits perfectly flat and has no issues at all.
Sleeve - NM
Original gatefold sleeve is laminated on the front and rear covers. No rips or seam splits and no cracks or splits to the laminate. Some very mild storage wear as expected but nothing bad at all. Staright edges and spine. Gatefold opens and closes perfectly. Inside gatefold looks as it did on its day of issue, near perfect.
Labels - NM
Near perfect labels. Just a couple of ultra fine, ultra-faint and barely visible spindle lines showing it's only been played just once or twice in the last 44 years. The labels stretch right up to the center hole and shown no ware whatsoever. Bright and sharp colours.
