Description
Super UK FIRST pressing of the classic Deep Purple LP, 'Machine Head', EMI Purple TPSA 7504, A-1U/B-1U matrix suffixes.
The laminated gatefold sleeve has numerous light edge creases, a little ring wear and a little corner rubbing, with some light polishing swirls on the laminate. Very clean, superb structure and colour, and easily grades EX-, if not slightly better!
Original poster, contemporary to this pressing with just two folds, has some light handling evidence and an extra crease running alongside one of the original folds. No other creases, no tears or pinholes. Grades EX-.
Comes with unlined Harvest inner bag.
Vinyl is glossy and shiny and plays very well indeed, very strong audio, with a little light surface noise evident only between tracks; side 1 has a few light hairlines with no effect on super audio, and a couple of more noticeable marks on tracks 1 and 2, but these also seem not to affect audio quality.
Side 2 has similar light hairlines, plus a light line at the start of track 1 and one across tracks 1 and 2, and a spidery line on track 2, but these cause only a few light clicks only very occasionally - visually, vinyl grades EX-, playgrade is EX- to EX.
