Description
Great UK first press copy of the classic Deep Purple LP 'Machine Head', Purple Records/EMI TPSA 7504, 'Gramophone Co...' on label rim, A-1U/B-1U matrix suffixes, complete with foldout lyric poster.
Outer-laminated gatefold sleeve has some obvious light edge creases, some light ringwear and corner wear. Still structurally good, with nice, clean and glossy laminate and great colour, and grades EX. Poster has a few light handling marks, but looks rarely unfolded, never pinned or mounted, grades EX.
Both labels are slightly misaligned, but this has no effect on Excellent playing quality.
Vinyl plays very strongly, flat, with no warp, with some light crackle at the start of each side soon dissipating, and a few light clicks in quieter parts and between tracks. A few very difficult to spot light hairlines, but this copy looks fantastic, clean and glossy, plays very strongly and certainly grades EX.
