Description

DEEP PURPLE MACHINE HEAD
Issue : UK ORIGINAL PRESS       Label : PURPLE      Catalogue No : TPSA 7504
 Matrix : TPSA 7504 A-1U / B-1U
This UK 1st press is on the original Purple label. It is complete with the very earliest TPSA 7504 A-1U / B-1U matrix, the Gramophone Co label text, the original ineer sleeve and the lyric insert. It has the earliest laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a bright mirrored gloss, there is no sign of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of the lightest wispy marks otherwise every track is absolutely superb. The sound is rich, vibrant and clear throughout. The original Purple label is bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is exceptionally sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.
The insert has a little general wear but is still very bright and clean.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has the most sensational mirror like shine. The black is solid, the colours are bright and the picture is unworn. There is just the very light corner and spine wear. The sleeve is solid and the spine is very firm with clear text.
