On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Deep Purple called "Shades Of Deep Purple" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1968 1st pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING ON THE YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS RARER STILL AS IT IS A MEGA RARE INDIAN 1ST PRESSING AND IS ONE OF THE RAREST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP EVER PRESSED!!!!  IT WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS FOR THE INDIAN MARKET AND IS EVEN RARER THAN THE UK 1ST PRESSINGS!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE PRESSING QUALITY IS SUPERB AND THIS LP PLAYS FANTASTICALLY!!!!  IMPORTANTLY IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS WITH AN EXPORTED UK 1ST PRESS COVER & INDIAN DISC!!!!  AND EVEN THE LABELS ARE VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL TO THE UK 1ST PRESSINGS (SEE PICTURES) AND HAVE THE SAME DESIGN & CAT NUMBER!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 INDIAN 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS UK 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING LAMINATED FLIPBACK COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY TOUGH TO LOCATE AS A 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  The Cat. No is PCS 7055 on the 1968 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO wear and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, and only some EXTREMELY light paper type scuffing only visible under light!!!! The record also has a slightly 'dappled' appearance ONLY under extreme light - though this is simply part of the pressing and does NOT affect the look OR play of the record in ANY way!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle!!!!  There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The UK Garrod & Lofthouse 'Patents Pending' 1st Press Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few creases (cover is still flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO rubbing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!!  This cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING ON THE YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE LP!!!!
