DEEP PURPLE
Title : Who Do We Think We Are! Label : Purple Catalogue No : TPSA 7508
Matrix : TPSA A-1U / B-1U Issue : Complete UK 1st Press
This is the UK 1st press of 'Who Do We Think We Are!' by Deep Purple. This genuine 1st press is complete with the earliest A-1//B-1 matrix and the 'Gramophone Co' rim text. The record is housed in the original polylined inner sleeve and laminated gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. The album is also complete with the scarce insert.
The record is in Excellent condition. It has the most sensational high gloss, with just a couple of small faint marks on side 2, but these do little to spoil this album. The 1st press Purple labels look superb, completely unworn. The colour is bold and the text is sharp. There is NO spindle wear, just a couple of spider marks. On playing the sound is exceptional - rich, bold and extremely clear. The record is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve.
The insert is in Excellent condition. This insert is also in absolutely fantastic original shape, it has only the slightest edge wear.
The 1st press laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The colours are lovely and bright, the laminate is extremely glossy and the images are sharp. The edges are very firm, with a little corner wear. The inside text is perfect and the grey has no discolouration at all. The whole cover still feels very solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
