DEEP PURPLE - fireball
Hard to find reissue album manufactured in the US/UK
In 1974 EMI wanted to re-issue some of the early Deep Purple albums and since they had an overstock of already printed covers for the earlier pressings, decided it would be cheaper to press the actual records abroad and import them without covers, thus saving on shipping costs. A decision was made to press the records in USA and as result limited number of copies was ordered as initial run to be pressed at Sonic Recording Products, Long Island, New York. The records were pressed on Harvest labels with "made in U.S.A." printed at the end of the label text, replacing the "Made in Gt. Britain" wording. These pressings are very rare today!

CONDITION :
- sleeve : VG- (some quite heavy edge and shelf wear; minor edge wear along the sleeve opening side; corners are slightly bumped; some moderate creasing)
- vinyl : VG+ (many surface lines and scratches; still quite glossy looking surface; will play with moderate background noise)
- labels : EX (tiny spindle wear; clean labels!)
My grading is based on Record Collector's grading system and all my records are visually graded. If you for any reason disagree with my grading please let me know. Don't give me a lower rating without giving me the chance to sort it out!
