STATESIDE & DEL SHANNON COLLECTORS: Issued during 1964 and being his first release on the imprint, here's a stunning and rare original UK white and red demo copy of this great tune from DEL SHANNON with "MARY JANE" on the UK STATESIDE imprint # SS 269 and backed with "STAINS ON MY LETTER".
This disc has the 4-prong centre intact and plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in mint minus condition with the lightest of sleeve rubs and with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. The labels are spotlessly clean on both sides without any written annotations and with minimal signs of spindle wear. Still paired with an original company sleeve making this a top copy for the collector (see picture scans).
