JAH TIME DUB
Produced by Augustus Pablo
An absolute crucial and hard to find 1979 Jamaican 12" fortyfive mix from Delroy Williams, Jah Bull & Pablo using Augustus'seminal "555 Dub Street" rhythm made famous on his KING TUBBYS MEETS THE ROCKERS UPTOWN classic album. Both sides extend the vibes. Delroy Williams delivers the goods with his lyrics of loyalty to your significant others. "The same blood runs through one another..." he sings with sweet conviction. Pablo's dubouts and Jah Bull's toasting lyrical fire about history, destiny & faithfulness (i.e. 'Stick together like all birds of a feather') add even more dimension to the dynamite dub music flowing underneath the vital word sound power. Essential excellence in sound judgement. Go deh. The ORIGINAL Rockers International Jamaican vinyl is in excellent condition with no skips, no warp, no scratch, no handwriting anywhere. The ORIGINAL 1979 hand-stamped 'Delroy Williams' plain Jamaican cover (a turned inside out Engelbert Humperdink SWEETHEART album) is in VG+ shape with no split seams, no disc imprints, no bent corners. "Jah Light" distributor stickers on both sides of jacket. Serious music for serious times.
