Mega rare and impossible to find psych rock lp vinyl record with one of the all time holy grail drum breaks on the track Piledriver.
100 percent original pressing. As told by Dennis Caldirola, out of 1000 copies pressed, only 600 were sold as the other 400 had serious pressing faults. Who knows how many out of the 600 remain today...
Sleeve Condition is Good with rubbing wear, sticker residue, light creases and wear and surrounds a 12" sleeve as it was made. See photos for detail. This was not a normal sleeve that had seams.
Vinyl is Very good. Light scuffs and marks. Vinyl still has gloss.
I went through the whole record and have detailed any faults. Play tested on my Technics 1210 with a quality Ortofon needle and cartridge.
A1. 6 loud pops in the first minute which is louder than the music. Some light background otherwise but plays mostly cleanly. This is the worst of the sound faults on the LP.
A2. A few light pops at the start but plays pretty much cleanly.
A3. Plays cleanly to my ears.
A4. Super light background, plays pretty much cleanly to my ears.
A5. 2 loud pops early on and some.light background but mostly plays clean.
A6. Super light background. Plays cleanly to my ears.
B1. The big one, Piledriver! Plays with only very light background at times, always in the background and plays mostly cleanly to my ears with that drum break that keeps coming back! Sounds Fantastic!!!!!
B2. Numerous light pops and background throughout but nothing nasty.
B3. Some light background at times but never overpowers the music.
B4. Plays cleanly to my ears.
B5. Some light pops here and there but mostly plays cleanly to my ears.
B6. Plays cleanly to my ears.
Might not suit a very fussy collector.
