DENNIS WILSON autograph on plain white sleeve. Inscription (in blue ink) : "To Laurie (possibly Lorraine?) - Hope you love this, Love, Dennis Wilson"
30 years ago I was driving all over the Bay Area, going nearly every day to record stores, thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, buying through Goldmine, etc. and I honestly don't remember where I picked this record up. Not being an autograph specialist I don't guarantee its authenticity, but it has the feel of a legitimate item to me. The writing reminds me of a record Richard ("Louie Louie") Berry autographed to me once. He was standing up at the time and his writing came out as something of a scrawl. This one looks better than my Richard Berry autograph, but may have been signed under similar conditions - standing up, or in-a-rush-I-gotta-go kind of a thing. To me it looks very similar to Dennis Wilson autographs I've seen online, but I'll let you be the judge.
CONDITION
AUTOGRAPH = VG+++. Signed in what appears to be blue ball-point pen ink.
STOCK WHITE PAPER SLEEVE (autograph is on sleeve only, not on disc) = VG+. Creasing; record "outline"
DISC (Visual grading) = VG+++ to NEAR MINT MINUS. Some minor light scuffs, Looks very glossy.
