This is a Japanese PCM Digital double LP of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 "Choral" in D Minor, Op. 125 (Denon OB-7333-4-ND) (1976). ----------- Back in the late '70's Denon was at the forefront of Digital technology, and they were one of the first big commercial companies to use this new audiophile technique in a series of jazz and classical LP's. This album features Vaclav Neumann conducting the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prague Philharmonic Choir Soloists. -------- Both records are stunning with no signs of play. There are no marks or scratches on the vinyl and no spindle marks on the labels. The jacket is in very nice condition with just minor edge wear and slight traces of ring wear. There are no splits. It has been cleaned on a VPI 17 record cleaning machine. ...............................................................................................................................................................................................
