The original 12" pressing of "Enjoy The Silence" by Depeche Mode, released in 1990, is a highly sought-after and iconic piece of synthpop history. The 12" features two remixes of "Enjoy The Silence" on the A-side and two remixes on the B-side, along with an additional track "Memphisto".
On the A-side, the first remix is the "Hands and Feet Mix", which is a more club-friendly version of the original song. This mix features a faster tempo, heavier bassline, and more prominent use of the song's iconic melody. The second remix on the A-side is the "Ecstatic Dub", which takes a more atmospheric and ambient approach to the track. This mix is characterized by its spacious soundscapes, sparse percussion, and ethereal vocal samples.
On the B-side, the first remix is the "Bass Line Mix", which focuses on the bassline of the song and adds additional percussive elements. This mix has a funkier, more groove-oriented feel than the other remixes. The vinyl is looks to be very clean and unplayed. Shiny brand-new. (I actually did a play test for this 12” because of the NM grade). The sound is very loud and clean.
No spindle marks or writing on the labels.
