Description
First up, sorry about the pics - not a strong point and the red cover was shot against a red background!
1971 DERAM (ie Decca) SML-R 1086, stereo. I know nothing about this band or the music......it's one LP of thousands and I'm having a clear out of all my prog and psych stuff, etc.
Unusually, the laminated cover is German Decca (German band?) with number SLK 16690-P. The cover is square and intact with no tears or writing, only some ringwear and creases and minor wear at the mouth opening. I rate it a good 7.5/10 for condition.
The UK Decca stereo poly inner sleeve is original and very nice. I give it 8.5/10 minimum.
Made in England, the shiny vinyl is original SML-R 1086. And yes, the cover and label track listings match. The label shows sign of little play with nice tight spindle holes. I've angled the record under a strong light and there are some light marks but in grading terms it's an EXC+ or NM- minimum! You do need to know about the very slight dishing of the vinyl, again, nothing dramatic but it's not perfectly flat, perhaps rises a degree or so from the edge to the middle. I'm being picky as I've bought records in the past where the description of condition varies between the ambitious and dishonest and it's real grief when you open the package and your heart sinks.
