Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Medium was Tedium + Don’t Back The Front b/w same by The Desperate Bicycles, released in 1977 on Refill, cat no RR 2. One of the defining singles of DIY punk, this 45 threw open the doors of the music industry to the disenfranchised youth of the era. “They’d really like to know why you haven’t made your single yet”, say the sleevenotes. “No more time for spectating”, goes the lyric. So, if you can understand, go and join a band.
Condition: a few minor marks on the vinyl, but nothing serious or particularly affecting play. VG+. Sleeve is a photocopy, but the vinyl is guaranteed 100% real.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- cheques (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £2.50 (UK 1st class), £3.50 (UK recorded) £5 (Europe) £6 (rest of world-airmail). Insurance recommended for orders over £25; I am not responsible for parcels that go missing in the post
