Description
THE DEVIANTS
"Ptooff!"
(Underground Impresarios IMP 1 )
Very rare 1967 British debut LP from the Deviants, who would later morph into The Pink Fairies. This version of the album was only available through mail order from "IT" Magazine and comes with a comic book-like album cover that unfolds into a giant 2' x 3' two sided poster (see pictures). It was reissued in 1969 in the UK on Decca. The LP has a fair amount of paper scratches, but nothing deep. There is a bit of surface noise at the intro, and some noticeable during quiet areas, but generally plays pretty well. The cover has held up remarkably well. Other than a little edge wear and foxing, no major flaws. No splits, tears or stains.
LP grade: VG+
Cover grade: VG++
