NEW and FACTORY SEALED!!!
RARE!!!
This listing is for a NEW and FACTORY SEALED original first pressing of the 1981 DEVO “New Traditionalists” LP. This is the limited edition version (BSK3595) with the hype sticker on the front factory shrink wrap which advertises the Free Bonus Single (“Working In A Coal Mine” 45) and Limited Edition 2X3 Poster contained within the sealed sleeve along with the LP.
Beware of reproductions and reissues being sold elsewhere. This is the ORIGINAL 1981 LIMITED EDITION Warner Brothers US release (BSK3595) first press WITH the Limited Edition bonus inserts. The UPC number is 07599235951. This is NOT the 2009 reissue and it is NOT the 1981 latter release that was pressed without the inserts. Therefore, if you want the “Real McCoy” (1981 limited edition with bonus inserts) and one that is still NEW and FACTORY SEALED, this is it!
The LP is still sealed with the original factory cellophane wrap. NOTE that there is about a 2” tear in the shrink wrap along the top right corner of the seam but the rest of the seam is still tightly sealed. The original retail store price sticker is still on the factory shrink wrap at the top right (over part of the letter “O” in “DEVO”).
The LP cover looks to be in excellent condition, but take a look at the pictures and feel to write with any questions. Given that this LP is still factory sealed, it would only seem logical that all of the contents should be mint but I cannot guarantee what cannot be seen. Therefore, this LP is being sold “as is” and it is up to the buyer as to whether they want to keep the LP sealed or open it up.
This 1981 LP was released over 40 years ago as a limited edition, so it is very RARE to find one that is still NEW and FACTORY SEALED. You don’t know if or when you might ever see another New and Factory sealed one for sale, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to obtain this super cool new wave music treasure for your collection!
