and VERY serious about taking care of his records!!!
More will be listed… Keep watching!!!
Up for bids is a rare, great mono Jazz LP by Dexter Gordon called "Daddy Plays The Horn". Bethlehem Records. BCP-36. 1955.RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Record's edges are raised.Front of cover is laminated.
Comes with original rice paper inner sleeve in VG+ condition.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG+ condition. Front is nice with some wear. Back of cover has some wear and light browning. No splits! All cover sides are completely intact! Strong and sturdy, this is still a prime example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG++. Looks gorgeous with some visual superficial marks that do not affect play. Minor surface between tracks, but not much wear at all. Record stills sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Dexter Gordon fan!
See my other auctions for more funky original records, cassettes, reel to reels, CD’s, and 8 tracks!
MY APOLOGIES IF THE SCANS ARE BAD, BUT MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE USUALLY DEAD ACCURATE FOR BACKUP.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

NOTE:
IN CASE OF ANY MISUNDERSTANDING, RECORD IS NOT WARPED. A "RAISED EDGE" IS WHERE THERE IS A LITTLE RAISED CURVE AT THE EDGE OF THE RECORD (MOST 10" OR 12" ALBUMS HAD THIS TILL AROUND 1957). THIS WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED TO PREVENT THE NEEDLE FROM COMING OFF THE EDGE OF THE RECORD.
