Grading - visually under a bright light.

Mint: a sealed record.

NM (near mint): virtually perfect, hardly played if at all.

Ex+: a few hairline and light marks. May be the odd faint pop or crackle when played.

Ex:  More hairlines and light marks, may be some light background noise, with occasional pop and crackle.

Ex-:  Quite a few sounding marks.

VG+:  sounding marks - clicks / ticks
