A terrific copy for music lovers and audiophiles alike. In my opinion, this is simply one of the best recordings of Mahler's 5th Symphony. The late Giuseppe Sinopoli had several PhDs and was a medical doctor. The music of Mahler suited him very well because of Mahler's own interest in psychoanalysis and the fact that Maestro Sinopoli's medical specialty in psychiatry! A true vinyl treasure! This is an original first pressing from 1985 that was made in what was then West Germany .
