DGG Red Stereo White Promo SLPM 138816 Alle Pierre Fournier Cello Boccherini Bach 1964 Rare NM!

Here to offer is a beautiful recording of Cellist, Pierre Fournier performing Luigi Boccherini’s Cello Concerto in B Major, and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s Cello Concerto in A Major accompanied by The Festival Strings Lucerne, Rudolf Baumgartner, Leader.

This is a White Label Promotional copy with the stamp 3/64 on the back jacket lower right corner.


The record/vinyl is in Near Mint condition.  It is an absolutely superb and pristine copy of this historic recording.  I cannot see any visual imperfections at all on either side of the record.  It is very clean and glossy.  There is only a slight, slight, sleeve scuff on side 1 about a quarter of an inch in size.  This record has a white promo label with white “sample not for sale” sticker on front of jacket.  It also has “Alle Hersteller” on the record label as well.  There is no noticeable spindle wear either.  The record looks absolutely beautiful.  I am only grading it visually.  I have not listened to it.

The inner paper sleeve is the original DGG factory sleeve sturdy and poly- lined and clean.  I would grade the inner sleeve as Near Mint condition.  It is well intact with no noticeable creases or wrinkles.

The outer jacket has some shelf wear but no seam splits or major damage at all.  There are a few creases and unfortunately a few water stains on the back.  There is no terrible shelf wear and all spines, main, top, and bottom are beautiful.  There is very faint ring wear noticeable on the back as well.  I would grade the jacket as a Good-Very Good, because of the back cover stain which is visible in the pictures.  The last thing to note about the jacket is that the “sample not for sale” sticker on the front has been penned out with black pen.  I don’t think that should deter your opinion of the jacket’s condition.  The jacket opening is well intact.

This will be a beautiful addition to anyone’s classical record collection.
