Description
Lorin Maazel conducts the Berlin Radio Symphony in Stravinsky's "Firebird" suite and "Chant du Rossignol" from DGG's 1958 inaugural roster of stereo records.
This is German DGG SLPM 138006, tulips with "Alle Hersteller" GY5 issue. Thick pancake pressing.
This one plays beautifully, with clear, vivid stereo sound, very quiet vinyl. In appearance, looks glossy and flawless. A NM, without a doubt. Play-graded with a Goldring 1042 cartridge--Music Hall MMF-5 TT.
Red stereo sticker. Stitched gatefold DGG jacket is crisp and bright, with some faint spots of foxing on the reverse, so NM-. Dated 8/58.
A pristine collector's copy. You won't find better.
