Description

(1960) Virtually spotless and unplayed Import-LP on Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft DGG TULIP Records 138 083 RED STEREO D. P. S L P M, original plastic-lined paper liner. Extensive notes on the back of the jacket in three languages: English, German, and French. Made in Germany.

Both sides of the label have tulips all the way around the outside edge. This version is known as the "TULIP" version. On the front of the jacket, the word "STEREO" is in yellow lettering against a red rectangular background. This is known as the "RED STEREO" version.

Both sides of the record are shown in the photos. This is the first pressing as indicated by the "1S" stamped into the id numbers in the dead wax on both sides of the vinyl. There were a few of these LP's in a series by these two performers, I will be starting another one today also. Check my other auctions if interested.

Condition:  Record is in excellent clean and well-cared for condition, vinyl is clean, vibrant, virtually spotless and unplayed, appears barely played if at all, under close inspection under light with a magnifying glass, I cannot see any spindle marks at all on the labels, one very light virtually invisible scratch in the dead wax on one side of the vinyl, excellent used condition, on a 1-10 scale I would rate the record a 9.5. While the record is outstanding, the jacket is a bit worn with edge and corner wear and edge creases, ring wear on the back side, shelf wear across the bottom edge, color is good and no separation, used condition.
