Diana Ross - interview and love hangover.
Incredibly rare abbey road one sided acetate of DIANA Ross's disco soul classic 'love hangover'. What makes this extra special is an interview prior to the song where DIANA Ross is explaining the reason why the track was released. She says that the 5th dimension released their version at the time and Motown had to release Dianas version as it was her song and needed to get out first. It wasn't actually intended to be a single at all. A great piece of Tamla Motown/abbey road memorabilia.
One only of these ever made I'm told. This came from an ex emi employee who looked after the artists on the label and worked at the Hayes plant from 1970 onwards.
No cat number....as this was never released in this form!!!
Acetate is in vg shape. Some visible surface wear but plays very well. No crackle. The odd pop. Still has a nice sheen. No jumps when I played it through. But a heavier weight may be needed? Label is the psychedelic swirly abbey road blue and gold design with handwriting stating what is on it. A stunning one off piece.
