This album is filled with the iconic sound of authentic west coast surf rock in glorious MONO
Dick Dale was impressive to the point to be signed early on by Capitol Records...However, though Dale was dropped by Capitol in 1965 following the British Invasion which all but suffocated The surf-garage scene, he remained a huge influence in the development of the electric guitar through his close relationship with Leo Fender, who engineered progressively louder and higher-powered amplifiers to satisfy Dale's needs.
Make no mistake, the "SURF FAMILY" Dick Dale album from 1964 ((in glorious MONO))  is a gem of the era...
Dick Dale passed away a couple of weeks ago, so we thought about listing this rarity in his honor
