DICK DALE AND HIS DEL-TONES - “Summer Surf”
Rare original 1964 Capitol Records Mono Pressing, still in original shrink wrap (open),
with 7 inch BONUS surf 45 by Jerry Cole And His Spacemen.
Cover is still in original shrink (open), shrink has been removed in lower front corner around the area of the Jerry Cole record, but otherwise fully intact. The Jerry Cole record is still in the lower window box. Side note: This Jerry Cole 45
“Racing Surf” promo 45 is by itself a desired collector’s item that sells for as much as $30 or more mint …
The record is in clean VG+ or better condition … there are one or two surface scratches that appear to be more from sliding the record in and out than anything else … the record otherwise looks unplayed … just light static dust like you find on the vinyl on these Capitol 1960’s LPs
(I think they must have coated the Capitol discs with some kind of polishing spray that light dust sticks to … clean and mint Beatles LPs attract the same dust particles … just wipe away easily with a soft cloth).
All in all a beautiful copy still in the shrink of a very collectible and desired LP by the king of surf!
