Description
For auction is DICK JOHNSON's "Most Likely..." on Riverside RLP 12-253, MONO, DG, 1957. With Wilbur Ware, Dave McKenna and Philly Joe Jones.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The playback is amazingly clean and clear!
VINYL: NM
Visually, the vinyl looks practically new. The only thing not perfect is the presence of a few smudges here and there.
COVER: VG+ or better
The cover is very nice. Edges and spine are solid with minimal wear. The corners are pretty sharp, except for upper right, which has a little fraying. Front and back are both very clean and unmarked, with a slight touch of routine aging/wear.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
Gorgeous vinyl! I never heard the artist before, but I know the rhythm section well, and the performance cooks! No reserve, bidding starts at $10.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
